Check tyre pressures, jack car up and see if they spin freely.

Cheers Duff cars don't gain much speed going down hill when IN GEAR anyway. I think you just need more driving experience

Handbrake may need adjustment. All will be clear when you jack 'er up and see the wheels are spinning with acceptable resistance.

Could be hand brake or maybe your rear brake lines are blocked and full of s**t. in order, check the handbrake cable, brake lines, then finally if they still grab, dismantle the callipers and check em out.

A few years ago when I had my XF I went to do some burnouts out the back of whoop whoop. Drove out there with hose clamps on the rear brake lines but they weren't done up tight enough. Jumped on the brakes, the rear brakes gripped but when I got off the brakes they satayed gripped. The next few hundred meters was not pleasant at all untill i realised what I had done. |
