							how do i get to the speedo gear inside my tranny. i changed the diff ratio and need to change the speedo gear. what colour and how many teeth does it have for a el v8 auto with 3.45s? also, what is a o2 sensor and where do i find them?

For the speedo gear - in the side of the gearbox. Ask ford what colour you need when you buy it. O2 sensor is, well... a sensor that measures O2. They are in your exhaust near the engine.

							being a v8 he will have two on each manifold they usually have around three wires connected to them.

							I think the 3.45 needs the black wheel and yes the e-series oxy sensors have 3 wires each (AUs have 4).

				Will help you determine what speedo gear you need. Depends on what diff ratio you had stock to what one you'll need now.

							So if i change from an auto to a manual i can still keep the original speedo cog from the auto to keep the speeo  sensor accurate cant I?

							nah, it was destroyed inside and out.
 
				Car all happy again, make to making it go faster (to 180 lol), stop sooner, and stick like glue.

							Hey Data, how is the Stally, and with stop better, i take it you mean my breaks, as for sticking like glue, i think that just swapping that flat spotted tyre might help lol

				Haven't got the stally installed yet yeah brakes got new pads - the dba slotted are still going strong. Until I get a caliper/rotor upgrade. I've 'fixed' the flat spot. FWIW I had all my rims balanced sans tyre. The rims are round.
