.7 tenths down the quarter is a big difference. Thats the difference that your T2 would have over a stock EL XR6, or ED XR6 for that matter. So its a bit of a difference over the quarter.
The T3 you drove could of been a pig, maybe been thrashed since day one, etc.
I just know my mates one is pretty quick, and noticably quicker than my 5l, or any other Falcon 5l's i've been in.

The t5 gearbox would be awesome behind the stroker. lighter, better shift, better gearing although their almost identical.
ford only put the t3650 behind that because......

half of the people that own them can't drive and are to pre-occupied with performing burnouts. I'm not a perfect
driver but am alot more fluid then most as proven.......

stock as a rock au2 te50 with 140,000 km churning out 156 tyre frying kw....

no riding clutch s**t or whatever just a simple dump from 4000rpm and let the clutch slip on its own accord

Gaz, my mate pulls flat 14's all day long in his manual T3, so i'd easily believe JB could pull a 13.9.
A 14.4 out of any 5.0l Windsor, no matter what their power rating is a great time, and i doubt you'd see much better than that out of a stock one.
