Is a trans cooler required for the sports 4 speed, or is this only needed for the 6 speed?

a trans cooler is good for either, especially on ba/bf ect to bypass the factory heat exchanger that fails and lets radiator coolant into the trans destroying it..

but in general a external cooler is a good thing to help extend the life of the fluid keeping it cooler..
