Ahh wrong button...Edited the electronisis part.. Copper and alloy don't like each other...Like a chics car some time back .. Corroded water pump rear housing/ timing cover...

the other way you can go is a triple flow radiator which is what I have in my XD with a stroker in it, they put baffles in to direct the flow of water across the finns three time instead of making its own way from top to bottom. The work very well.

I thought ill bring this thread back to life
![]() PWR seem the way to go as my bro runs a PWR also another mate with a serious v8 twin turbo, and they do a good job. Dessert coolers i heared are also good but i presonally think alloy is the way to go but its hard to get a good balance between both. For example my 347 in winter the temp is just above normal and dosent run above A. Now when its summer its a complete different story, it will get up to the start of O which is abit warm for my liking. So if i were to go a PWR unit in winter it may be a issue as it will run 2 cold? but summer it will be sweet.

Personally think you have other issues. My stroker has S*@t loads of K's up with std radiator and is lucky to creep on to the guage most times. In hot summer going up steep mountain climbs with A/C on it goes to the first letter on the guage and my sons EF is the same. I would suggest if you have chronic overheating issues and your not running over 10:1 compression then you have other issues. |
