thinking of buying a XD ESP 351 man p/wind p/steer air in silve has the original wheel but the motor has been replaced no oil leaks anywhere good cond BUT defected for the gas tank the guy has ripped the gas out now and the seats are a bit ripped he wants $2500 just want to know if its worth gettin or not and how picky is regency park in adelaide any help would be appreciated. cheers

Doesn't sound too bad! , suppose its up to you after you take it for a good run. If the body and box are ok, Id say its a decent buy.

that was the original running gear but has a a new motor doen as original but different engine no's the rest is original thou

the first letter is country code, should be a J:Australia
2nd letter is manufacturing plant (G: broadmeadows) 3/4th digits are body code, 23: Falcon GL 5/6 digit is the year and month code, this case, XD is july 1980 6427 is the specific serial number..... f**k if i know what the K means if it's a genuine 351 manual, engine code should be T and trans code should be L, give me the paint and colour codes and i'll tell you what she is, silver exterior should be something like 4 or 5
