Hey people,
I not long bought my first v8 as a 17 yr old, and I was thinking of building a 5 ltr 99 AU into like a BA/BF XR8?? Any thoughts, besides buying an xr8? I was thinking if starting with the transmission, putting a 6 speed auto in it, that came out with the FG's, but I'm not to sure if they will match. At the same time it will be an ECU flash to match the new transmission and a Dyno tune. Then a 2.5" cat back exhaust, Genie extractors and the likes. Then a bigger throttle body, and injectors, high pressure fuel pump, bigger fuel lines and stuff. Then a 3.45 LSD, and an after market drivetrain. What's the go on cold air intakes?? All this is pretty costly, I know, but doing this is there any dangers I should be wary of?
