G day
I am currently working on a few Radio projects in the ute - it means that i need to suss out trying to put a big big alternator in there What i need is something that will supply 120 amps to my big battery Just wondering if anyone has done this - maybe for spot lights or the same as what i am doing If you want to know i want to run some serious power that will draw 80 to 90 amps Cheers |

Just go and talk to a decent auto electrician, they can usually supply something suitable for high amp applications.

repco supply a 120A unit im shore. I think it is a general perpuse unit. I fitted a smaller 80A unit to my xf and was just enought for what i was doing but i should have upgraded the main supply cable to the batter as well.

yer the unit i wil be running will peak at least 80 amps plus i need rest to run car - ive been told about that 120 amp unit - will go have a look today i think
