That last one is a nice setup!!

I have something similar (but on a 6 cyl 250 2V) down to a K&N filter which just peeks out under the bumper - this K&N used to sit straight off the carby and must have been sucking hot air straight off the extractors - cos the difference was really noticable, even from about 20 kph on up....

mine was a homemade setup, used a flex pipe from a late model jap car, some 2.5" exhaust pipe and fabricated an airbox open to the under bumper air out of aluminium sheet - I also modified an (I think) EL under bonnet `scoop' (the kind that sits over the radiator support panel) that sits very inconspicuously under the bumper and helps direct air up into the filter...

Cold rainy nights its even more noticable!!!
