have xg ute and am trying to take the sump out of the ute without removing the motor whats the secret.

either have to lift the motor out or drop the k frame? either way motor will need to be hoisted up

yeah pull the motor, or drop the kframe out from underneath the car, difficult but not impossible.

Yeah not impossible - dropped the K Frame on my EF yesterday but alot of work & a hoist makes it sooooooo much easier

Raise the motor.

XG K-frame is non removable.

Yeah XG's dont have a K frame as such, the ONLY way to do it is to raise the motor.
