hi all i'm about to buy a xe esp off a mate and i'm looking for a 351c or 351w for rebuild or simply drop it in because it doesn't have and engine and gearbox has auto at the moment but if there is a manual out there for the right price i'll consider and possibly an interior not quite sure yet. Cheers willsy :D

not quite sure as yet i just basically need and motor and box doesn't matter if the motor needs rebuild because i can either buy the bits to do it or i know people who would be quite happy to do it for me at a reduced price because i work a repco in horsham and know quite alot of people around town who would help me out if i needed it. and as for the interior it doesn't have the esp interior only xe ghia interior thats why i was trying to source an interior but if i can't well the ghia interior will do drivers seat has slight tear not sure how bad but i'll kow later today.

by the way shum if you want it to go harder get an adjustale cam gear and pacemaker headers with maybe a cam and you'll find it will go a hell of alot better but then again you haven't said what you've done so far hope it goes well 8-)

well the engine went into my mates xb the autois still in there and as for the interior i don't think when he bought it it had one the car is coming with an interior but i is only a straight ghia interior but everything is there complete (seats, door trims, rooflining, centre console the lot) but i am going to need a rear bumper because thats not there but i'll have to see whther he's got more spares or not.

wow good luck with it all, is this your first rebuild, if so you will find that things will spiral outta control quit quickly if you dont have a plan.

before you spend any real money on it, phone ford and get it verified as a genuine ESP

if its a genuine 351 manual ESP, but it, even if you have to chase down the bits to bring it back to original..... they're worth $10-15k now, and i dont see them getting any cheaper

if you can persuade your m8 to part with his block, do it...... the car will be worth a good whack more if its a matching numbers car (engine and VIN number match)
