Hi George,
Is it true that if i want to buy the B series "Turbo" letters only i need to buy it with the XR6 badges too?
If this is not the case do you you know the part number / price of just the red turbo lettering.
Cheers,
shaun.

Hey Strawbs thanks mate but for my purpose I need 2 sets. I intended to put the lettering on the front guards on the centre weather strip like vince has on his XR. Plus I wanted to try get red ones to match the back. Cheers anyway and you should pop out more often on friday nights too. Thanks Papa too. I might have to sign up to ebay.

Hey George.
Is there a part number difference/available picture of the differences between the six cylinder AU/BA/BF alloy suspension crossmember and the 8 cylinder AU/BA/BF alloy suspension crossmember?

They are the same, the only different one is the RTV X member.

Hi,
My steering column in my ED doesn't appear to have the lower bearing. How much is it to replace it? i've heard that you can't just replace the bearing by itself.
Cheers.

I think you will find that it is there. Does your steering seem hard to turn? Try spraying some WD40 into the bottom of the column from inside the car , the column is open there and you can see the steering shaft. If you get no change then you will have to buy a second hand column, they have been obsolete for about 4 years New.

I don't think there is a bearing. The bearing should go between the brass plate that mounts to the firewall and the shaft right? because there is a rubber bush type thing between them at the moment and someone has shoved an extra piece of rubber in there to take up the slack.
The steering is usually fine though, but altely it has been feeling a bit grindy.

There is a bearing but you can't buy new ones, this is why I said you needed a new Column.
I had a problem with my EB years ago, started getting hard to turn and so I sprayed WD40 into the bearing at the bottom of the column and after about 20 turns of the steering wheel it got better.

Hey papa

I'm chasing a set of brake nipples for a ed falcon, are they availiable from ford or am I better of going to a spare parts place or a brake specialist as mine are severely corroded

Cheers, bear
