Hey just a question I have a 2001 xr6 series 2 it's auto and the gearbox is starting to slip a little , any ideas what it could be ? Low fluid or just needs a service ? Cheers

I'm not sure , I have just bbrought the car 3 days ago the engine is overdue on a service so I say a while maybe hasn't , it's got 200 000 on the clock aswell

Iv heard the trans-coolers go in the autos, u might want to check your coolant for oil.

Yeah Iv checked no oil in coolent , I'm pretty sure it won't engage 1st and 4th any ideas ?

$1400 - 2k for a rebuild and labour. Get some quotes. Ring some places.

Okay cheers I have a 1999 au falcon aswell as the 01 au xr6 can I use the box from the 1999 falcon or are they different ?
