hey guys,

as the title says, does anyone know if the 4 piston brembo brakes (front obviously) fit behind the factory bf 18" wheels?

im getting conflicting answers. fingers crossed they do, i really dont want to have to fork out for 19"s.

cheers

yep, 355mm disks with the 6 pot. What I did find is the aftermarket copy XR8 18's only just miss by about 1mm, but the original have about 4-5mm clearance

ill post up some pics tomorrow.

theyre heaps better. more feel, and u can sense they are more powerful, alot more powerful.

had to buy some ba gt rims, which look sh*thouse.

anyone know if theyll fit behind the optional FG 19" wheel for G6E Turbos?

The problem isn't the diameter, as 18" is the minimum needed for 355mm discs + the calliper size. The catch is the spokes, how far in they go. Wheels with 'dish' won't fit as the callipers are very wide.

yeah, i too thoguht it would be the diameter and discovered it the hard way. spewin as i thought the bf 18"s were actually a really good looking wheel.

I know of a set of GT 19's for sale with very good rubber on them, I think he only wants $1500.. I'm sure they would clear the brakes.
