hey i guys over the next few weeks ill be saving for a manual conversion kit for my 97 el futura. was wondering if anyone had one or knows of anyone. or could even tell me a rough estimate for a price of one with a heavy duty clutch. cheers

Don't know anyone sorry, but paid 600 for my EL T5 kit, all inclusive, then found an nearly new XR clutch and pressure plate online for 30 bucks. (love ebay, guy put it in his car, then pulled it out as his wife couldn't push the clutch properly...)
Anywhere between 500 and 800 would be the norm I guess.. I've seen lots of conversions kits sold in that range. cheers Frank |

seem good. i went to a mechanic to qoute for a price of a manual conversion and they said 2500. like f**k that man!

I have t5 out of my el xr6 . Have clutch and pressure plate , alloy tail shaft and crossmember

just a quick question. what would you guys recommend a short shifter or just regular and obviously a heavy duty clutch is better but for what reasons?

bought a whole t5 kit from a eb for 300 and a new clutch for 220 wasnt to bad i thought!
