does any1 know where i can get an adaptor plate to fit a 5spd celica gearbox to a 2L escort motor, is there anythin else i would need and where can i get the stuff

castlemain rod shop do a complete bellhousing with modified input shaft to put a 5speed celica box in. but you'll need to get you tailshaft modified to fit


but a cheaper easier one would be a 5 speed sierra box. you can pick them up for about $500 and use the 4 speed bellhousing to fit it up. also no need to modify the tail shaft

Hmm, a 5 speed sierra box i never thought of that, but let me be the first to welcome you to Fordmods, i found some sites for you that you were arfter about the Zetec engine and some gearbox shops i hope these help , but im still not sure where to get a Zetec engine from , oh and Castlemain are a good place, they can certanly help you out.
