anybody done this ? i think i only need upper control arms stub axels callipers and rotors to do it... the parts book lists the lower ball joint as the same..... also xr6 BA has a bigger brake pad same as v8 toiletdore.... different caliper? worth getting ?

as far as i know that AU2 to BA (BF maybe) are the same front suspension etc and rotors are the same and calipers are i think slighty diferent, so unless you are going to upgrade to XR6T brakes or a brembo setup it isn't worth it.

Not worth it? AU brakes are tiny and s**t. I don't know exactly what parts are needed but check out FTG, I think they were selling kits for them to put the BA brakes on and have also got a few BA brake kits which would be worth checking out.

opps i see he owns a AUI that runs the same caliper and brake pad as the e seires, hmm i think that may be worth upgrading. FTG i think does a kit or can get a hold of one.

AU1 is the same as E Series... should be able to find a AU2 Brake kit on ebay... pretty straight forward upgrade i think...
http://fordforums.com.au/showthread.php?t=66266 this is the ftg brake upgrade that will bolt straight on to and AU2 to BF2 they are BF2 XR8 Brakes with a slotted rotor (322mm) so its a upgrade for even BF 1

have compared the ba lower arm off a customers car and is almost the same except sway bar mounts the lower ball joints are the same part number so i was thinking just leave lower arm on there?
