Just would like to know how the gear knob on a 5 speed manual BA falcon is attached?
This one I have looks like it hasn't a thread in it or is stripped out. It has about 10mm hole in base that is about 15-20mm deep then it hollow's out for about 30mm then there is another hole with about 10mm hole in top which looks like it doesn't have a thread. Any info would be great Cheers Guys & Gals |

i may be wrong but i always thought that there was a grub screw from the dash side that went into a thread in the knob and also in the stick... but i'm not 100% sure

Has it got threads in the alloy or some sort of insert.
Is it like I have described my gear knob. Could you describe how yours look inside. |
