Hi guys just looking for some input on gearbox tailshaft and diff info. Im in the process of rebuilding my EF XR6 for pure power and speed. Im beefing up a short block with strong performance parts and will be adding my worked head to it with a two superchargers on it. As you can imagine i am looking for some serious power.
What im not sure about is what would be a better box to run as i want to keep it a manual as well as the right tailshaft and diff to handle the increased power. Im mainly looking for a setup that i can possibly run the 1/4 in 11s but keep it as my daily drive.
Feel free to make any comments as all input is helpful to me. Thanks guys.

Hey mate to bad you are in QLD I have just pulled my complete 4'11 LSD 9 inch out of my car near new centre. Didn't suit my setup so I just put the standard 3.45 lsd back in.

T56, custom tailshaft. KAAZ centre in the standard diff, go the 31 spline option and get some billet axles.

sweet il start searching and see what i can get up here. I know its the wrong area but would you think i would need to go to a second T/B or a larger one to handle the extra airflow from the 2 superchargers?

for 11's, go the proven way, Turbo. QPAAC can do the 31 Spline billet axles for around the $1k mark

yeah i was leaning towards a GTR35 setup i think but because i dont know much about turbo setups ie. turbo lag and heat i started thinking bout the s/c setup. Then thought one better going 2 s/c cause its pretty unheard of.

i honestly dont know but i cant see why it wouldnt just have to get the right belt system and t/b setup to handle the extra airflow

There is a guy on here that has a BBM with twin throttle body's set up, its compact, unique and is awsome looking. Each charger can run into one of them, just needs to be harmonised.
