Quote: What arm ? EF/EL front lower arm Yeah, sorry, a wagon. Front lower control arm. The one that joins onto the "K" frame (and helps stop the wheel from falling off The manual says to hacksaw the ends off, and then use special tool number such and such. I reckon I might be able to press out the rubber bit, and the cut out the sleeve. But I can't figure out how to hold the end. There isn't much to rest onto under a press. |

From memory when I didn't have access to a press, I cut the ends off with a cutting disc, then drilled some holes around the crush tube, and knocked the tube out.
Then I think I got the rubber section out, and with a chisel, cut through the sleeve without damaging the arm. For that part, you could get a pipe the size to fit over the sleeve, and press it and the rubber out.
