got around to pulling brake booster and insulation off last night. crack is a lot worse than i thought. i am definately going to put a big plate on firewall then the modification bracket. i couldnt believe how thin the metal was, i was able to push it back by hand. ill try and post up some pics tomorrow.

Go hydraulic 5000lb 5 plate hays clutch can be worked nicely by my 20 yr old daughter, (not that I let her drive the GTHO by herself as she has my HEAVY right foot)

when you put the neww clutch in put some grease on the sharft that the throw out bearing sits on. it will help with it haveing a easy pedal and also puts less strain on the fire wall as well.also if you have extractors put some heat shealed rap over cable. as the heat fromm extractors will make the cable go hard . and this plays havit on fire walls . i hope this helps.
