Hi all, just a quick question re EA/EB diffs.
i have a '88 LSD diff outa a wagooon but it has a 2.92:1 [from memory] i bought a '93 sedan with 5sp & 3.27:1 diff. the '92/3 EB wagooon i have sitting in me garage has the stock diff & auto that i would like ta replace with the 5sp & LSD. now my question is .... can the two diffs be combined to make up a 3.27 LSD outa both?? |

it can be done but not really a home job, because the ea is a 75 series gear set and the eb/ed is a 78 series gear set, so there is some modifications required to put bw75 gears on a bw78 centre, its to do with spacing up the pinion bearing ..
