hey guys/girls came across a eb fairmont v8 and i have some break disks and pads left over from an old car ef/el 6 cyl fairmont, the fronts are slotted and the rears are normal.

would it be worth putting them on the eb and would they fit?

Yes the fronts are the same except the studs are about 5mm too long. I found out accidentially. The abs ring may cause faults if abs is fitted.

Rears are incompatable due to the drum parking brake on the ef/els. EA through ED, The parking brake acts on the disc.
