just wondering
iv been told that u can increse acceleration by only breaking a little rod inside the air intake has nyone heard of this |

dont no about any rods in the air intake, it might be the bell mouth in the actual airbox. Some people say they restrict the intake, some dont.

I saw a topic called "ford" and couldnt resist a peek.
yeah mate, its actually the silver rod that runs along side your head on the right. should be about an inch think and shiny. either cut it with a hacksaw, or snap it with a chisel. Kinda looks like a small curtain rod. Helps pressurise the intake, but you will get worse economy. its why its there. to help economy at the cost of powa. happy modding
