Now heres the story......
{USERNAME} wrote: Today i was driving down the freeway and i was doing 100 kph then all of the sudden the gearbox started jerking violently.  it was like its going from neutral to drive every time i push the accelerator the engine would rev and then it would kick into gear and out again then i stopped and put it in park and then drive took off and it was fine again? this has happened twice. on the way to where is was going and on the way back it happened i was doing 80 kph! WTF And also when i brake coming up to a set of lights it wants to stall and then the revs pick up agian and is normal and the gearbox is still smooth when it changes but needs half a litre of oil. Sounds like it may need a " Gear position switch "......found on left side of auto tranny.
