I have a problem with my brakes. I really have to push the brake pedal to get the brakes to work as well as use the handbrake. There seems to be air coming from somewhere in the car near the brakes (not aircon either). The brake pads are fine, brake fluid is full and there are no air bubbles. I have run out of ideas as to what the problem is. I was thinking maybe the seals have worn. Any ideas.

Maybe bleed the brakes again, my brakes are pretty crappy too but I don't need to use the handbrake, sounds real bad, I'd get a pro to look at it ASAP!

Sorry I can't be of more help.

Thats what I was thinking...The hissing you're getting is the vacuum line to this.
Check if its still on and if it is, you need a new brake booster.

this happened to my mates old EF, he stomped the brakes and pushed the secondary seal through the booster. may aswell save your pennies and buy a new booster. if u have trouble braking slip the car in N coming up to a stop and apply the brakes.
