Noise from front suspension back again on this car, AU2 75th Ghia 6cyl, IRS, LSD
Previously puzzled me ended up replacing shocks, springs, tie rods and ends, ball joints, sway bar links and bushes, lower control arm bushes --- which didn't do nothing until it all went quiet one day for $20 when a suspension guy jacked it up and bolted something up in 10mins and was fixed. Now I didn't see exactly what was being bolted up but he said it was to do with the sway bar. Now the noise is now back - all front suspension still under 1 year old and a different mechanic cant find anything loose or play in the front suspension. He now suspects the same - shocks/springs, upper and lower control arms which all have new bushes and now Im told they are not rubber so not as good. Has anyone come across the same knocking noise which feels like its about to tear through the floor at the drivers side and how it connects to being an issue with the sway bar. We checked all links and tried hard to move the sway bar the D bushes are good and the links are still new. Is there a rear sway bar - maybe that was what the previous susp tech was bolting up or could it be unrelated like engine mounts etc. Im now told to drive around its still OK but its annoying and it feels like something's about to fall off. Hope anyone has come across this before. This all seem to have gotten worst after a bit of towing last two weeks of a 8ft trailer. Thanks
