Personally I think slightly lower in the back, not heaps like some VLs though lol. Nice to have the front a touch higher to avoid scrapping on the guards when turning.

Most cars look lower and can tuck rim/tyre in the rear simply because the rear wheel arch is lower than the front wheel arch.
I voted for dead level, but slightly higher in the rear is far more practical. Full tank of juice = 50+kg, behind the diff, add a subbox, amps, then your back to level again. Add mates and you got a gangsta lean happenin lol.

I have superlows alround, but with stock shockies, so the back sits maybe a touch lower I think, but I do have amps and a heavy sub & box in the boot. Shortened shockies (eg lowered spring base) will drop the front a touch more, and should look far better that way.

When I went to Powercruise I had a carload of people, full tank, and crap in the boot. I was almost tucking rim with 15"s lol. I seriously doubt it would have been sitting more than 5-6cm off the ground at the lowest part, as the fking mudflaps hit the road a few times.

So, in conclusion, option 1 & 2 should win by a s**t lol

not victorian here but i disagree with that part of your comment. slightly lower in the rear should be the national standard.

to clarify though, cars sitting down a touch at the rear still need to have the front guard on or close to the tyre.

this topic is on aff as well but for those who don't or won't go there, here's a pic of my car. don't have any side shots but 'eyebrow' height is 345mm front and 330mm rear.

Soooo.... if I'm from Victoria I should like it lower in the rear - hmmm sounds like another minority group most try to avoid :-) I think the poll is a fairly good indication of what looks best and I gotta say - I agree wholeheartedly !!! Want more confirmation ? Check this out:

I'm in Vicco and go for slightly higher in rear, but, it depends on where u look at the car, are we talking about guard to tyre gaps, or sill rake, personally i like even guard to tyre gaps but only if that gives me either flat sills or slightly higher in rear sills, lower in rear generally lightens steering & makes it vague(i.e towing overloaded), and headlight aim for spotting possums.

But, Its at these times you are most likely to get nicked by our friends and possibly a defect notice applied can which then lead to extra exspenses such as tyres , windscreens, oil leak fixes, the list goes on
