i was keen on throwing them in and just cleaning them later, but i had to work just after they turned up lol

I'd aleast give them a bath in petrol , there was a fair bit of dirt around the injector pintle holes .

I never properly cleaned mine just gave them a bath .

Getting ball joints pressed out for $88 , and new pressed in .

Also putting a 6mm spring pin in the lower part of the bracket , that way the bracket cannot slip or move under. Braking .

Pin will be going where the centre pop is . On both sides

fitted the bracket to the upright, no way its moving now, put loctite on the top bolt, under the bracket and around the pin. so there on for good, but can be removed.

just hoping the bracket wont get in the way when the ball joints get pressed out.

cut off the excess pin and filed flush

getting new ball joints fitted tomorrow, then just have to get caliper seals and paint it all. due to painting it wonr br fitted this weekend but should be on by next weekend, also waiting on rotors which should be here this week.

I could put it all on today but I want to paint it ,

Wtf is wrong with pedders pricing lol I ring them up tell them what I wanted done , they said $88. Then when I go to pick the uprights up they say $44 . Winning . I obviously kept my mouth shut said nothing paid the $44 then got outta there lol

Happened twice now , I ring up for quotes and 3 different guys say 3 different prices.

Winning for sure. They quoted me $22 per bj near me. I think that's a bit rich. For not much more I can buy the tool that makes the job easy & do it myself, then I've got the tool for the next time I have to do it, which with 3 eb's it will come up sooner or later lol.

What's the tool look like ?

Only took them 30 minutes , not even an hours labour .

Put new seals in the calipers , f**k the dust boots were a b**ch to get in . First one was a b**ch but the rest were easy as I knew what to do . I put it around the bottom of the piston , then into the caliper then pushed the piston in .


Everything is painted and ready to go in , except need the studs pressed in which I'm doing tonight .

I'm thinking of putting it all in tomorrow , but don't want it too take too long and won't have a car for work on Monday , how long does changing 2 uprights take?
