so i finally put the new motor in the ute, i used my old gearbox cos i knew it was good before i swapped it, started the car went for a test drive and discovered it has no reverse gear!!
any idea's why people??? |

asuming this is auto... this maybe ur problem.
the cup thingy is the reverse thingy on the auto's 
missing peice found..

Quick follow up for anyone else with the same problem....... the post before was exactly what was wrong, i took the part from the old gear box and after about half an hr, it was back together and works perfectly!!!
thanks heaps for the info again p100 ute, you saved me a nice sum of money there
