G'day

I got a 5 speed EL XR6. Latly I've noticed the gears a sliding into place a lot more rough than it use to. Though after driving for say 15 minutes it become a bit more smooth but still not 100%

Help would be good,

Cheers.

when was the last time the gearbox oil was checked or changed??

it might just need some fresh oil?

i had the recomended dextron trans fluid in my 5 speed and after 12 months the gear changes were geting alittle notchy..
so i changed the oil and put penrite synthetic gear oil 75..
now it shifts smooth and the box is quieter...
