oh yeah, and if i were to put a 3.45 lsd in my car, is it possible to adjust the speedo electronically?

:D its not stealth now.... you just told us all...

Yes you can adjust the speedo electronically, using a jaycar speedo corrector kit.

ooh yeah, all done.

no real chirpies though, but definately a 'firm' shift.

using the electric aerial switch and a relay works really well, and it looks oh-so factory until you spot the box under the glove box.

thanks guys

i'm a tad dissappointed in this shiftkit game!
haha had another attempt today at installin it to the EB...i noticed a difference wen it was on only it didnt let the car rev at all, was rather gay. i think i'm over the idea now...i guess i'll change the 18Ohm resister to the 22Ohm i got n see what happens with that...

i shall return! hopefully with a success!! haha

there wont be any MAJOR improvements with time because its not a MAJOR thing your doing. If the standard shift takes 3/4 of a second and you reduce that to a 1/4 of a second you will feel the difference but how would that dramatically improve your 1/4 time or 0-100 time. Think about it.

i doubt it, shifts just dont take up enough of the 1/4 mile time to have the potential to reduce the time by that much. maybe .2 of a second. It would be better to hear from people with track experience though.......Anyone?

On EB – ED MPFI I6’s, The S5 Wire to the ECU is on pin 38, and +12v on pin 57.
On EF I6’s the S5 wire to the ECU is on Pin 81, and +12v on pin 71.
On EA I6 – and all V8’s the S5 wire to the TCM is on pin 7, and +12v on pin 29.

I posted this in my other shift kit thread but it should probably be here as well if its not already.
