The metal arms are the same, but the bushes arent.

So you're talking about a direct swap, no they won't fit.

You'll obviously need new bushes and a 6ton press with appropriate tools to push the old out and new in.

the ones that need to be changed are EA 88 but i have a EB 92 with good ones in them so i thought i could take the whole lower rear trailing arms and put them form the eb 92 to the ea 88

I ask because EB1's had the same trailing arms as an EA. EB2 onwards are different.

eb s2 changed to live axel diffs, which then changed their bushes in the lower trailing arms, i had the same problem, the uppers fit from ea-el. i bought new nolathane uppers and lowers which cost me around $350 from repco, but that was with a staff discount.
Cheers,
Brandon

maybe your thinking of something else? falcons have been live axle since the first falcon in the 60's..
xe/xf sedans were the first to change from leaf springs to the 4 link rear end and it has been the same up to au where some have irs..

EA/EB1 lower trailing arms are different to EB2/ED. The upper trailing arms are the same, except for the XR6 ones.
I have EA trailing arms in my ED.....I made spacers for them.
