A family friend has mentioned before tires named "Taxi Tires" and i was wondering if there is such a thing.

He said they are a hard a** compound, f**k all grip and last AGES!

There's Many s**t tires out there, usually cabs run retreads or remoulds.

screw retreads for skids. they'll peel off. get some light truck tyres or something lol

Thats why i was wondering he said that they were not re treads but a really hard compound so s**t grip. but i guess hes full of s**t! (my family friend)

There was about 15 years ago, my Boss used to get them from Bridgestone for his cabs here in Adelaide....
