Hey guys while putting me engine back in last night and this morning, I've managed to split one of the lines, could I put some silicone on it or would it be better to replace?

you need to replace it or cut the split section out and use transmission hose...

would a radiator hose work at all have some left over from this gates packet I got.

ok yeah will do that, may even get a replacement one from the wreckers if I can etc.
