Can get a Ba Xr8 tremec cheap, I know its a bit of stuffing around but would it bolt up behind a Ba six with a change of clutch and bellhousing.

...Id say yes. In fact I will put money on the fact that an AU bellhousing, and a BA clutch would be the same. Is this the T5, or the T56? (5 speed or 6 speed manual?)

no! BA TREMEC is a BA only item, it WILL NOT FIT anything else other than a modular V8, hence why u can get them cheap as
integrated bellhousing apparently
