what the differance between cortina and ef I6 diff center?

hey guys
i got a detriot locker out of a cortina would it fit into my diff center? do i need shims/spacers under the crow wheel or anything or it drop straight in?

i forgot to see how many spine the locker is as well which ill check up tomorrow.
ef fairmont diff they 31 spine or 28? i got a open diff and lsd here
to fit the diff center into

the EF has a 4 pinion, 28 spline diff
