I was at WISD on saturday with the www.sportcompactgroup.com EB on boost was running.His car qualifies due to being turbo etc etc...
There was big talk about a 6 cyl AUSSIE class being formed...This would IMO bring along the good ole G.M -Ford battle again much like V8 supper cars...So guys get a turbo Ford and go for it. or better still get an old EA and go nuts !!!...Imo this class will take off..Especially if some sponsers get behind it...
YES I know Falcon is hardly sports compact, but its 6's only...

Hopefully it does take off. I've been hoping for a long time that they'd start something similar to the 'Improved Production' class you have over east here in Perth. All you'd need is a lightly modded 5spd EA/EB/ED with some suspension mods and you'd be in.

Be great to see some racing from that class tho if it's ever televised.
