are they 1 piece or 2 piece? i know genuine EF side skirts are 2 piece, but i got some skirts off an EL and i'm wondering if they are genuine. there not fibre glass they are plastic but theres no part no's on the back and there 1 piece. thanks again.

yes the el skirts are one piece. if they are genuine then they should have made in Australia and tickford stamped into them along with a part no.

thanks nannas_ed, i've got genuine EF skirts and they have the tickford wings and the ford part no's and say QUEST, but these EL skirts I have are made in Austria! <= that aint no typo! and don't have any other markings except some wierd part no
 plus there made of plastic/rubber and not fiber glass  si reckon there copies, but made in Austria? |

sounds to me like you have a genuine set as non-gen's are almost always fiberglass. iirc the numbers are stamped towards the front of the skirt on the outside bit that faces the road (when installed on the car)

OMG! legend nannas_ed, I just checked the bottom outside bit near the dog leg and there was the magic Tickford and the part no's. thanks heaps, who wouldv'e thought to look on the outside
 now I know there genuine.
