Outa curiosity how did you get it to fit?
I gather you cut the bumper along the bottom egde of the detail strip thing
on the corners. Correct me if im wrong plz

My mate ran up the a** of a truck in his ba xr turbo but the bottom half of the front skirt surivived mostly so i was thinking of doing something the same on my EL with his banged up skirt (he's turfin it)

Also did the ba side skirts fit neatly?

And ALL EL kits are crap as the only one i even thought of putting on my car was the venom kit till i started looking around and seen every tom d**k harry and his bloody dog had 'em on.
Dont really wanna run with crowd.

ive seen John's kit in the flesh. he's done an awesome job on it. all i know is it was alot of cutting moulding different bumper peices together to make a new one. as for the side skirts go he said they were the easiest to fit in terms of modifiying (and stupid me accidently bumped one off when getting out of his car  ). he just needs to get the damn thing painted lol.

Hahaha
Thanks John ;)

yep, basically cut the EF bumper along the rubber moulding cutout (along the bottom)
cut the BA bar somewhere flat.
overlay the BA bar over the rubber strip cutout, join with what ever methods available.
strip put back over the top to hide all the mess

side skirts were pretty easy.
about 35mm cut off one end, small bits trimmed off the actual mountings to clear the jacking points.
clips on like factory.

I dont think it would be too hard just gotta cut the right spots plastic welding shops are pretty good on prices
I had a canoe with about 6 big cracks in it bout 20 - 30 cm long each they only charged me $70 to fix it up and sand in smooth.

But anyway cheers for the low down when i do this all take pics the whole way through. Prolly not for few weeks yet tho.

I know this probably isn't the right spot to ask, but do you have to sikaflex side skirts on or will they just hold there?

i took plenty of pics, but there really isnt that much to show.
the problem with plastic welding (in some instances) is that the bumpers are some times made from 2 different plastics.

my side skirts are just clipped on, no screws, no bolts, no sikaflex.
when they're all painted etc i'll prolly screw them on just for peace of mind.

Smash repairers for the front bar.
(damaged EF and damaged BA front bars)

Side skirts = $250 from someone who put C2R kit on their XR6T

rear bar = damaged from EL, Damaged from BA Ghia (filled reverse sensor holes) and new BA XR lower skirt for free from recycler (pot luck)
