So uhh this may sound stupid, but if i bought say , a redback exhaust, would that have the cat converter on it or is that a separate thing?

are you getting it made or is already suited to your car , most of the time the exhaust will bolt up just behind the cat so you wont need to replace it

that would be seperate. cat back exhaust only does from the cat back. so normally bigger pipe n takes away a muffler
