I am rebuilind the bottom end on my new mtoro shortly.
3.9Ltr MPFi I am going to bore it out 60 thou. Does anyone know if you can get a crank out of any motor that by putting it in would give it a bigger stroke. e.g. i think with 202's you can put in a ford crank and the stroke is increased aka more HP ![]()

Already begged several workshops to do a custom crank for me.. its a no go!

Exactly....Actually the 3.3 makes a VERY good strong engine when turbo'd..With good valve gear etc, they rev to the moon...
A slightly shorter stroke would help the 4.0 also...By offset grinding the big end bearings..Capacity would be reduced though....

dont think you can go up 0.060" on a 3.9/4.0L. the most is 0.040".
i would want to keep it at most 0.020" as the bigger you go the more it can run too hot. i know that you can run AU rods and pistons in any 3.9/4.0L as the big end journal size on the cranks are all the same.
