Hey guy's . I've taken the climate control out of my old fairmont so i can transplant it into my futura but . . . while i was pulling out the blend door motor . I kicked the heater box to bits so i could get to it(I had no tools & was in a hurry) . Would it be ok to use the standard Futura/GLI heater box and add my climate control stuff to it ? or will i need to get another fairmont heater box for eveything to work proper ?
Any help would be great , cheers |

blend motor goes straight in, use some initiative, small bolts and nylock nuts through the flap.
ALL heater boxes have provision for the auto climate control addons. There is pre-formed holes on the top. You pretty much have to just press them in (break the few thou of plastic) and stick in a bolt.

this is about right there is a technical document on how to do it the blend door motor is a bit of a c**t but its still easier than pulling the heather box out.
