hi all i just bought a el 4l falcon with an automatic stranmission and its started to have some problems with changing gears.
once it gets hot there is a serious thud when it changes gears and now its started to nearly stall when i slow down to turn as if it doesnt want to go down a gear. ive had a look through here and couldnt find anything remotely close to this. any ideas? thanks heaps. |

Might have to get it rebuilt or get a good low k second hand tranny.

ah dam didnt see that coming, was hoping it was just a loose linkage or something.
any idea what its going to cost me for a new/new 2nd hand one? are they hard to put in myself or leave that to a mechanic? thanks |

they go for around $150 on ebay i just sold two one for $127 and the other $159 but have none left now but check ebay out
