							Hey Guys,

I've got a coolant leak. It's located on the intake side between the 5th cyl and the 6th cyl. Coming from a pipe coming from the engine block. Is this a common place for a leak? It's an XG Ute if that makes a diff. Thanks

could just be the heater pipe hose, they tend to get damaged (mainly due to getting dirty, and stones from the road etc)

It joins the heater tap .so its about where 5-6 cyl are .. put it on ramps, get underneath and have a look! |

dunno about the later ones (or even what type the XG's use compared to XF's), but on the XF's, it's usually the metal part of the heater tap that rusts where the hose clamps onto it

Being as I just had mine out, The 'E series is the same, part plastic part metal. The one I replaced was rusted and the plastic was brittle!
