The EEC-IV in the Series 1 EB Xr8 Manual is 1DFA. SO it is a EEC-IV. The mod chip thingy is a "superchip" with 1DFA.211 written on it. A pre programmed mod chip it would seem after some google searching.

I'm unsure of the catch codes on my ED I6 manual ecu or the EB series 2 Xr8 manual ecu atm.
