hey guys, trying to change the fuel filter, but it wont budge either side of the filter, using spanners to try and get them off obviously, and secrets to it??

i had the same trouble with my ef last week- i got one side undone but the other side was just twisting the fuel line- i just took it to the mechanic round the corner and he did it for nothin as he has done a fair bit of my work in the past

So true Elf, I have Pipe Nut spanners as well. I usually use a pair of vice grips on the filter not, spray heaps of penetrating fluid on the thread, wait 5 mins or so and voila, off it comes
