whats the difference between a mild steel and a stainless cat back exhaust system? obviously the steel one would rust eventually, but is the sound or performance any different? have got some quotes for both and it seems i could get the steel one redone 3 times before it matches the stainless price. is it worth the extra $ to go stainless?

I personally think the stainless system sounds a little nicer than mild steel, but that could be my hearing. Apart from the obvious, a stainless system looks nicer too.

lol how often do peole see under your car? never heard a comparable sound off between a mild steel and a stainless system. anyone else know of any differences aswell or agree with the different sound?
