I have a mate with an AU Gearbox, will that fit into my EL?
Also what about the diff and the ratios? Its from a standard AU fairmont (not ghia) into a Standard EL Futura |

Not sure about the fit mate, but im sure some one can help you with a yes or no soon.
But as for the ratio of the AU diff i have a AU S3 Falcon. It has a 3.08 diff. Yours prob thhe same just have a look on the little tin tag on the diff. Good luck. MITCHY

the trans swap should be a straight changeover,
the diff will fit but is 35mm? wider each side so will need to run au wheels on the back and maybe au handbrake cables too? |

Box will fit.
Diff can be made to fit, though you need to do a bit of customising. Its been done before on here. |
