Fal98con I'm not sure on the loom side but I have a feeling you can pull out the crank sensor and just put a dizzy in it. What the devil are you doing up at that time of night thinking about this for? Haha well I couldnt get to sleep  and yeah I just bought an ef fairmont with a seized block, my new project  so I was tossing up what I should do, I might just look for a full tickford ef motor that is ready to drop in and the play with it (cam wise etc) once it is all up and running.BTW cheers for all the replies guys is a good hand.
